About Us

Hello from Joni and Randy.  Joni and I moved to Englewood in 1998 after having lived almost 20 years in the Atlanta, Georgia, suburb of Kennesaw. 

Joni grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and then Savannah, Georgia.  She received a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of Georgia in 1977 and a Master's degree in Christian Counseling from Georgia State University in 1983.  After being an occupational therapist in a mental hospital and teaching special ed kids for several years, Joni began a private counseling practice, specializing in ministry through local churches.  Joni began her real estate career in the mid '80s in the fast growing suburban Atlanta area of Cobb County.

Randy grew up in the small town of Cuthbert, Georgia, where his family owned a John Deere farm equipment dealership.  He received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia in 1976 and a Master's degree in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX in 1979.  Following a ministry as pastor of Encourager Church in Kennesaw from 1979 through 1996, Randy joined Joni in the real estate business.

Our real estate business has been blessed through the years as we seek to help meet the needs of our clients, not "push" certain properties.  We have received many notes from happy clients. 

Joni's specialty is in helping sellers price a house for sale.  Not only do we do the necessary background research, but Joni also has a gut instinct that is usually right on the mark for what is needed for a quick sale.  Clients who listen to her advice are not disappointed.  Joni also is a strong negotiator, helping bring buyers and sellers into agreement for a win/win situation.  She thinks outside the box and is usually able to come up with a solution for those "tricky" developments that sometime happen in a real estate deal.  Randy's strength is in working through all the paperwork involved in a real estate transaction and in bringing problem solving skills to the task.  We will be tireless in looking for that "perfect" home for you or in helping you sell your current property so that you can move on to your "next" adventure.
